About Me

Hello! I'm Rick from Taiwan. Currently, I am enjoying my first year PhD life at University of Pittsburgh.

I earned a M.S. degree in the Biostatistics from the Institute of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine at National Taiwan University (NTU) in 2019. I also hold an degree in Mathematics and Statistics from National Cheng Kung University (NCKU). During my Master's year, I joined in Chuhsing Kate Hsiao Lab and visited research group Mathematics in Life Science at Freie Universität Berlin under Dr. Alexander Bockmayr’s supervision.
From Aug 2021, I start my PhD life at George Tseng's Lab, Department of Biostatistics, University of Pittsburgh supervised by Dr. George C. Tseng. I am also a graduate student researcher under the guidance of Dr. Kayhan Batmanghelich at the Department of Biomedical Informatics, University of Pittsburgh.
